Fleet Foxes live was possibly the most incredible way to start off a new year of gigging. I couldn’t think of a better first gig for 2009. I’d heard lots of amazing things about their shows overseas and I was not disappointed. Far from it, it will easily be one of my favourites shows of the year. Those harmonies!! And Robin singing unaccompanied was beautiful. And they were truly humbled, almost embarrassingly so, at the amount of applause they were getting, which was really sweet to see.
