The indie girl’s guide to…award nominations for Dappled Cities
Sydney lads Dappled Cities keep the acclaim coming!

First up Dappled Cities have been nominated for an ARIA Award for their recent third album Zounds in the Best Independant Release category. They also picked up a nomination at the AIR Awards for Best Independent Artist and were shortlisted for the coveted Jagermeister Best Australian Independent Album of the Year Award.
Most recently they were nominated for Artist Of The Year at the Sydney Music Arts and Culture AWARDS (SMAC), the same awards that last year saw Dappled Cities win the inaugural award for Best Live Performance.
Vote the boys in the SMAC Awards here.
Kudos to you Dappled, great to see you guys get the acclaim you deserve xx
P.S – The boys were last week announced on the St Jerome’s Laneway Festival line-up coming to NOT-a-laneway near you next year, and they recently found time in their busy schedule to hang out with Sir Richard Branson at the newly christened Virgin Mobile Metro Theatre in Sydney:

Catch the boys live on your radio tonight on Triple J’s Live at the Wireless (Monday, 26th November 8pm EST, repeated Sunday, 1st November 5pm) from their recent Zounds tour at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne. Should be fab!
